Congratulations to
wormwood_pearl, who climbed her first F6a at the climbing wall today! That's apparently a 5.9 in the US system - do you use the same system for top-roped climbs as for lead climbs over there?
I, meanwhile, am getting increasingly solid on the F6a+s and managing the odd F6b, but that's all on top-rope: I need to do more leading and get over this tedious "fear of heights" thing...
[We had been hoping to go climbing outside, but the weather put paid to that idea - just when we thought it had been sunny for a while, and would maybe stay that way long enough for the rock to dry out, down came another shower.]
