No, that's fair; if you're willing to accept that monosexuality is rare-to-nonexistant across the board, I'm happy. As taimatsu says, though, what you say above could easily be misinterpreted as applying specifically to monosexual lesbians, and thus comes across as more offensive than I'm sure was your intent.
